These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cambridge AI Safety Hub ("CAISH") website at caish.org and the services we offer through it, including our programmes, events, mailing list, and meeting booking system.

CAISH is a project of Meridian Impact CIC, a Community Interest Company registered at Companies House (company number 13653958).

By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Our services

CAISH provides educational programmes, events, and resources related to AI safety. Through our website, we offer:

• Programmes — including the Alignment Fellowship, Alignment Desk, and MARS (Mentorship for Alignment Researchers)
• Events — talks, socials, and community gatherings
• Meeting bookings — a calendar system where you can book meetings with our team
• Mailing list — email updates about CAISH activities
• Resources — research materials and information about AI safety

All services are provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

Our services are not directed at children under 16. By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old. If you are applying to one of our programmes, you must meet any additional eligibility requirements specified on the relevant programme page.

4. User conduct

• Provide false or misleading information in programme applications, meeting bookings, or any other forms
• Use the website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, its servers, or any connected systems

• Use the meeting booking system to spam or make bookings you do not intend to attend

5. Programme participation

Participation in CAISH programmes (such as the Alignment Fellowship, Alignment Desk, and MARS) is subject to an application and selection process. Acceptance into a programme is at our sole discretion.

If you are accepted into a programme, you are expected to:

• Attend scheduled sessions and participate actively
• Treat fellow participants, mentors, and facilitators with respect
• Comply with any additional guidelines provided for the specific programme

We may remove a participant from a programme if their conduct is disruptive or otherwise inconsistent with the values of our community.

6. Intellectual property

The content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and page design — is owned by or licensed to CAISH and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent, except where the content is explicitly made available under an open licence.

Research materials and reading lists we link to are the property of their respective authors and publishers. We provide these links for educational purposes only.

Our website integrates with and links to third-party services, including Google Calendar, HubSpot, Airtable, Tally, Luma, and others. 8. Meeting bookings

Our meeting booking system allows you to schedule meetings with members of the CAISH team. When you book a meeting:

• You must provide accurate contact information
• You should attend at the scheduled time or cancel in advance if you can no longer make it
• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any meeting

Meeting availability is subject to change. We make no guarantee that a particular time slot will remain available between the time you view it and the time you complete your booking.

9. Google Calendar overlay

If you choose to use the optional Google Calendar overlay feature on our booking page, you grant our application temporary, read-only access to your Google Calendar events. This access is used solely to display your calendar alongside our available meeting slots. Full details of how we handle this data are set out in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CAISH and Meridian Impact CIC disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• Any particular outcome will result from participation in our programmes or events
